Spell-a-Thon Limo Ride
Wow! Talk about fun. The top fundraisers from each grade went on a limousine ride and had lunch at Chuck E Cheese on Feb 16th with Dr. Saliba. The winners were Kinder – Zack Newsom, 1st – Megan Sjoland, 2nd – Nic Owen, 3rd – Madison Davison, 4th - Noah Matlock, 5th – Vaughn Lescarbeau, 6th – Sarah Clifford, 7th – CJ Orcutt, and 8th – Will McCahon. Congratulations!

Library Needs Volunteers
We still need more volunteers for the library inventory process. Several teachers need help either before or after school while a couple need help any time someone is available. Even if you can help for just one hour, that would be really appreciated. Contact Jennifer at spa@tcdcharterschool.com if you can help.

Chuck E Cheese Night – March 9th, 4-9pm
Come enjoy a night of fun with fellow classmates. SPA receives a portion of all of your sales at the register. We will also have a raffle for a great prize. The classroom with the most students attending wins a pizza or eegees party.

Scholastic Book Fair is Coming – March 10th – 19th
Ms. Davidson has volunteered to oversee this very important project for TCDS again this semester. She needs volunteers though in order to make it a success. Folks are needed to run the register, set up & take down daily, & generally help out. If you’d like to be involved, please contact Ms. Davidson at bdavidson@tcdcharterschool.com or 296-0883. Come help give the gift of reading to our students!

Testimonials Needed
Want to help us brag about how great TCDS is? During the process of redoing our school website we’ve noticed that the testimonial section needs updating & we need your help. Please email spa@tcdcharterschool.com with a quick sentence or two about why you like TCDS or something special the school has done for your family or child. Kinder Roundup & TCDS Open House
Thank you to everyone who helped out at the Open House! There was a great turnout and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Many new families turned in registration forms and asked great questions. It was nice to have so many parents in purple SPA shirts and National Junior Honor Society students in their blue shirts that night. Nothing showcases TCDS better than our wonderful volunteers! Thanks again.

Curious About What Our Teachers Need for Their Classrooms?
Check out http://www.tcdsspa.com/wishlists.php to see a list of items our teachers have requested. Items need not be new, just in good working condition. Drop off items directly in the classrooms or in the front office for SPA to distribute.

Penny Wars & SPAghetti coming soon!
Keep an eye out for these two great events! Penny Wars, coming in April, is a shirt color competition to collect the most change while SPAghetti, on May 1st, is a family fun afternoon with a silent auction.
